August Checking Clinic

 Build confidence for U14’s more physical, strategic game in our Checking Clinic, focused on proper technique and safety fundamentals. Players will learn body positioning, correct stance/leg strength, and safe contact habits while understanding key rules and head-safety awareness. We’ll also cover timing and angling to stay in control of opponents.

 Does the player still need to take their Centre's OMHA Checking Clinic?
Yes,  your centre's OMHA Checking Clinic is a regulatory and safety compliance program that will have to be completed at that centre if their policy states so.  Some centre's do not require a checking clinic.

Advanced Hockey is a private run program and our Checking Clinic goes beyond the basics to provide in-depth teaching and practical skill development. Our more extensive clinics are highly beneficial for players moving into U14 A/AA/AAA or U15B.
