Tips for hockey parents

Skate Fitting

 Maximize Your Skate Comfort! 🏒👟

Did you know that stretching your skates can make a huge difference in comfort and performance? Whether you’re dealing with tight spots or need more room for wider feet, here’s how it works:

🔧 Manual Skate Stretching
Many hockey shops use a skate stretcher, a specialized tool that targets specific areas (like the forefoot or toe box). The tool applies gradual pressure, expanding the material and relieving those painful pressure points. After a few hours of stretching, your skates will be ready to go, offering a custom fit that helps you perform your best.

🔝 Pro Tip: Stretching can extend the life of your skates, helping you avoid buying a new pair too soon! Head to your local hockey shop and give your skates the extra comfort they need. 🏒
