For Beginner or Players Newer to Hockey Born 2021 - 2016

Whether your child just completed their first season or is new to hockey, our Core Skills Program is designed to build strong, confident hockey players—starting with the basics.

This program is ideal for players who are:

New to hockey or skating
Still working on balance, stopping, and changing direction
Struggling with puck control or stick handling
Needing structured, confidence-building sessions
Graduates of First Shift, CanSkate, Rookie Program or House League Player Catching Up
 

Each session includes station-based drills that target the most important building blocks of hockey:

• Skating Development
  • Balance, stride, edges, stopping, turning
   
• Puck Skills
  • Puck control, passing, and shooting fundamentals
   
• Confidence Building
  • Encouraging participation, effort, and enjoyment through repetition and success

Sunday July 20, 3:40-4:40PM WFCU Centre

*Join the program and ice times will be added on an ongoing basis, only pay for the dates you attend.
